Royalty
The Rhododendron Festival Scholarship is a program organized and managed by a group of volunteer community members looking to help make a difference in our community by working with a royalty court consisting of a King or Queen, 1 or 2 Prince(s) or Princess(es) depending on the number of candidates. The focus is on selecting those who will serve as ambassadors of the East Jefferson County area. The winner is selected through a candidacy process which includes training meetings, speaking appearances, obtaining monetary sponsorship, selling festival pins, and engagement in community service.
2025 Rhody Royalty!
Taylor Frank is the daughter of Patricia Hall. She is the oldest of six. She has five sisters and one brother. Taylor’s interests include Interact, HOASA, Knowledge Bowl, helping others, and reading. Her future plan is to study nursing and someday become a nurse practitioner.
Lorelei Turner is the daughter of Bruce and Becky Turner. She has one brother. She is a sophomore at Chimacum Jr/Sr High School. Lorelei’s interests include cheerleading, Rainbow Girls, writing, gaming, and spending time with friends. Her future plans are to become a real estate agent or a high school history teacher.
2025 Royalty Tea
The 2025 Royalty Candidates, Taylor Frank and Lorelei Turner, attended a tea accompanied by Rhody Festival Association board members. The tea was hosted at Hudson Point Cafe.
Queen’s Coronation is scheduled for February 8th at the Chimacum High School Auditorium at 1:00pm.
